There are these brown spots on my face that seem to be harmless but are becoming uncomfortable to me. They're almost similar to freckles but anyone who sees them say they're not freckles. They say they are sunspots? Never heard of it so I thought you guys might know them? Thanks for any help.

Hi there. This is a little confusing. If they are small brown spots that are a lot, they can just be freckles. But if they are a few bigger spots, they can either be sun-damaged spots or senile warts. They can be treated with skin care creams like renova (available on any pharmacy) careful sun protection or a much faster removal process will be chemical peels, etc. So I suggest that you reach a dermatologist to have yours better diagnosed.

These dark patches on the skin are called solar lentigenes, hyperpigmentation, or less formally, sun spots. These discolorations are not cancerous and don't cause negative effects on your skin health. If you neglect sunscreen or have neglected sunscreen in the past, chances are you have a few of these sun spots on your face, neck and hands. People with darker skin tones may experience these solar lentigenes as patches of ashy or gray skin.

I'm a little confused by the fact that you say they are uncomfortable. Do they hurt or are sore Or are you uncomfortable with your appearance because of the spots? A dermatologist may be able to help you. If the spots are bumpy or get worse, it could be skin cancer and you should definitely see a doctor.

Sounds like they are age spots! Can be a result of unprotected or proonged exposure to the sun.
Make sure you wear sunscreen whenever you venture out in the sun and reapply after every 2-3 hours. Also, this might be the time to start using anti aging products. Or at least. try some pigmentation products to get rid of the spots.

Hello friends
As sun exposure plays a role in the development of liver spots, it is advisable to avoid excessive exposure to the sun and becoming sunburnt. Cover up when outside and use a good quality sunscreen. Improving the liver function is important to prevent and manage skin conditions of any description including liver spots, as the liver is the major filter of the blood, clearing it of toxins that can build up in the system and create free radicals which promote cell damage in the skin. The key to keeping free radical production to a minimum is to consume foods and supplements rich in "antioxidants". These are molecules that in effect put a halt on the destructive 'domino' effect of the free radicals.
Thanks for all friends

Hello friends
The ONLY product I've ever used to remove brown spots that absolutely works is GLYQUIN-XM. It's a cream sold by Doctors; I get mine from the Doctor who does my botox. Horribly expensive, but a one ounce jar lasts about a year and it really works. The only thing is, you have to use it daily as the spots reappear in a few days if you skip applications. It's intense. You use very little, rubbing it only where your brown spots are, as it really will bleach your skin white if you put too much on and it tingles. I use a tiny bit twice daily. In about 2 days, you'll be horrified to see your brown spots have darkened, but that night they'll disappear entirely! Well worth the $100+ it costs. I would imagine that dermatologists carry it. The jar says Rx only. You can't get it in stores or on ebay.
Thanks for all friends
