Bathing Regimens to Moisturize the Skin

These are the bathing regimens recommended by Dermatology Institute as an adjuct treatment for many skin conditions. Anyone can utilize the bathing regimen to ensure the skin is properly moisturized.
BATHING REGIMENS TO MOISTURIZE SKIN
1) STOP using your current bath soap.
2) Begin using CETAPHIL GENTLE CLEANSING BAR instead. You will notice this soap makes less lather than most soaps. This is because it lacks the harsh detergents found in most soaps.
3) Begin one of the two regimens 2-3 times weekly as listed below:
REGIMEN #1 - for people who prefer showering.
1) Shower using cool to lukewarm water only, NO HOT WATER.
2) Before your shower prepare a large bowl of warm water and add 1-2 capfuls of NEUTROGENA BODY OIL to the water. DO NOT USE BABY OIL. Then place a washcloth in the bowl and place the bowl just outside the shower.
3) After your shower is done remain in the shower stall. Before you dry off, take the washcloth out of the bowl and apply generously to your skin all over.
4) Pat body dry with a towel, DO NOT RUB.
5) For added moisturization you may apply CETAPHIL MOISTURIZING LOTION at this time.
REGIMEN #2 - for people who prefer tub bathing.
1) Add 2 capfuls of NEUTROGENA BODY OIL to the water in the tub. The water may be any temperature you like.
2) Sit in the tub and relax for at least 20 minutes. Make it easy for yourself to stay in the tub longer by having a good book or some soothing music close at hand. One good way to tell if you have been in the tub long enough is to look at your fingertips. If they are whitened and have started to look like raisins, you have been in the tub long enough.
3) Pat body dry with a towel, DO NOT RUB.
4) For added moisturization you may apply a thin coat of CETAPHIL MOISTURIZING LOTION at this time.
